This fridge runs off 220V or 12V or LPG gas. Each mode has its advantages and disadvantages so plese make sure this is suitable for our needs.
It is a convection style fridge, meaning it uses heat to circulate the coolant. It is therefore very important to make sure the cooling vents at the back of the fridge are not covered, especially if it is running on gas as the heat build up will pose a severe fire hazard.
This fridge is suited for long trips where there is no electricity available as it will run for days on a (full) gas cylinder. The 12V option is only suited for keeping the unit running while you are driving, the power consumption will discharge a battery in less than one night and you will be stranded, unable to start your car. The 220V is useful for cooling it down before you leave or if you have campsite power.
It is a single compartment fridge, there is no seperate freezer section.
Please note this is fitted with a 12V Heller plug, not a conventional cigarette lighter plug.
