The LED Lenser P17R is a high-performance flashlight that has true staying power. It gives the full lighting performance of 400 lumens over a period of 10 hours. This means you are always well equipped, even for long period of use. The construction and equipment are of such high quality it meets the strictest of requirements imposed by police and security services.
The LED Lenser P17R is like the little brother to the M17R. It has the same advanced battery technology, but has a 400 lumen output in high. This is to maximize the run time of the battery (over 10 hours in high!) while still giving you that long range illumination of 1 377 feet.
It has 2 output levels - 400 lumens high and 60 lumens low. The battery charge time is 2 to 3 times shorter than standard batteries, which is a plus when you are in a hurry!
One of the features of the LED Lenser P17R is the charge display which changes from red to green when the charging process is complete. The blue orientation light on the magnetic charging contact module is lit permanently during the charging process.
TheP17R also has an emergency light function which gives increased safety during a power outage. If the power supply is interrupted the flashlight will switch itself on automatically. This function can also be deactivated.
The switches of the LED Lenser P17R offer easy access to three essential light functions - Power, Low Power and Defence Strobe. The switch has a precise pressure point and is designed to handle many switching cycles.
